Earthly Example

You can think of it like an elderly person knowing a lot about how to manage money. They have information that they have learned by experience.

A wise person would know that it is important to be prepared or study for a test etc. 

Spiritual Explanation

God may reveal to you a word of wisdom or some information. The Holy Spirit may tell you something about a certain verse or passage in the Bible. Spiritually, this information has been given by God. This information will help you make wise decisions or help you help others make wise decisions.

Biblical Example

• In 1 Kings 3, King Solomon asked God for wisdom. Verse 9 says, "Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this great people of yours?”
  
• God was very happy with Solomon's request for wisdom and made him very wise and understanding.
