Once we are saved, God will begin to deal with us in different ways about things that should or should not be in our lives. As we begin to pray and ask for His guidance, He will direct us as to what should stay or go. It's always a good idea to have an adult pray with you or maybe even an older brother or sister or someone who is strong in there faith. There may be times when you are not strong in your faith and you will need your brothers and sisters in Christ to help you build it back up. No two people are the same, so there will be times when you need others and when others may need you. Since we find ourselves at different places in our faith, God may very well deal with you about something that is a problem area for you, but for someone else it is not. God may want you to stop watching a certain television show or to stop listening to certain music perhaps. God does everything in His time and he may deal with your friends about the same thing eventually.
"Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions. One man has faith to eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables, don't let him who eats despise him who doesn't eat, don't let him who doesn't eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him." Romans 14:1-3 (WEB)
We have to accept each other no matter where we might be in our walk with God. We can not force our opinions on others. As long as we are reading our Bibles and listening to the voice of God, we will be fine and he will mold and make each one of us to be more like Him.
