God may have you speak in a foreign or angelic language. By the power of the Holy Spirit you will speak words that others around might not understand. If you speak in different tongues in a large group, it should be translated by someone who has the gift of interpretation of tongues.

Biblical Example

The best example of speaking in tongues in the Bible is probably in Acts 2. The Holy Spirit filled the disciples and they started speaking in different languages that they themselves did not know.
