You can think of leadership like a team captain, a president, a coach, or a board member in a company.

Spiritual Explanation

Spiritual leadership is very important. Without leaders in the church or ministries, a lot of stuff would not get done. The Holy Spirit will help strengthen you and give you the ability to lead others beyond what you could do naturally.

Biblical Example

• David was made King of Israel by God. God gave him great strength to lead. (2 Samuel 5)
  
• Moses was chosen by God to be the leader of the Israelites and get them out of Egypt. God gave him the power to lead. (Exodus 3)
  
• The apostles were the leaders of the early church. They sometimes appointed other people to lead other ministries. (The Book of Acts)
