Earthly Example

There are nurses and doctors that care for elderly people or sick people. They have a special desire to help them. A rescue worker is a good example.

Television shows have people who work behind the scenes that are not on camera, but are super important. They run the cameras, lights, run errands, build sets, clean up, etc. 

Spiritual Explanation

We should all help out in some way or another. Helps is when you feel a great need to serve others that are sick or poor. You may be called to serve in some ministry in the church.You may feel more comfortable working behind the scenes to help out. You may help make videos, build sets, clean bathrooms, vacuum, make food, do dishes, help with church parking, etc. There are so many ways to help out behind the scenes.

Biblical Example

• The Good Samaritan is a good example of helps. He finds someone who is very hurt and takes care of him. (Luke 10:25-37)
• Peter says that, "As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms." (1 Peter 4:10 WEB) 
• God wants us to take care of widows and orphans. (James 1:27)
