I know telling a lie may not seem like a very big deal. Small little unimportant lies like "yes mom I did clean my room" when you didn't. Or lying to your teacher about doing a homework assignment but then you lost it. But really you didn't do it at all. There are many reasons why it's so important to always tell the truth no matter how tempted you might be. Maybe even if the first or second or third or how many lies you've told it gonna come back and punch in the face somehow. If you start lying about every little thing it may not be big deals at first. But then you start lying about bigger and more important things like, lying to your own best friends face that you weren't telling everyone her secrets or that you weren't talking about her behind her back. But usually it's not worth wasting your breath to talk about people since in in the end they almost always find out the truth from another friend a text or on facebook. Another big lie is when you get older you go to the mall with your friends and they are pressuring you to go take that top from Aeropostale over there well everyone is waiting in your head your like "heck no, no way I can do this". But everyone like come on we will tell everyone at school you'll be made fun of and have no friends." Well that would kinda suck so you take the shirt because its no big deal and I'm so much more popular at school because I stole that stupid shirt! Your so guilty inside. Even though you get away with lies eventually it will come around to punch you in the face even harder. So that's why is it really worth it to lie? Yeah you get away with it so your mom won't take your phone or ipod or ground you. But you still have to live with guilt inside of yourself and more importantly you can think of God being so disappointed in you..... Because he knows the truth too.
So below put your honest opinion about lying or a lie that you told and how it came back. To "punch you in the face".
