Step 1.
Write down why the person bothers you. Write down what they did to you or someone else. Write down any negativity that is sitting in your head about that person.
Ex: Billy called me names. Jane broke up with me. George stole my stuff.
Step 2.
Now replace the word "me" with (himself, herself, or themselves) and the word "my" with their own.
Ex: Billy called himself names. Jane broke up with herself. George stole their own stuff.
When we hurt people, we are really hurting ourselves. When other people hurt you, they are hurting themselves and ultimately God will take care of that. You really just have to do the final step.
Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. (Romans 12:19, NIV)
Step 3.
It may take some time to get yourself into that mindset. When you get it, rip up that piece of paper. Smack it, step on it, yell at it, feed it to a goat, or whatever you need to do to let it go. Throw it in the trash and into God's hands.
Bonus Step.
Enjoy freedom.
