The daily Bible verses now feature cool images of Looky Lamb. They are @lookylamb on instagram. The plan is to eventually make them into a little inspiration calendar or some kind of book. The Daily Bible Verses are going to be Psalms and Proverbs for now and eventually contain verses from all over the Bible. The translation is mainly WEB because it is a good translation and is public domain. Anybody can use it in print or online without any permission. The WEB is now on www.biblegateway.com as well.
I have really been praying for God to lead me where I should go. I feel like all the projects going on are way too big for just me in my spare time, so I have been asking God to bring people to help to the project. So far there really hasn't been much help, but I am sure it will come in time.
I am finding out the joys of legal issues and copyrights etc. I found out that a font I was using wasn't public domain like I thought it was so I am going to be reworking a lot of material and graphics the next couple of days. It shouldn't be too bad. If you notice any changes to the website, then that is most likely the reason why.
I have been looking all over for a public domain Bible translation to use. The King James Bible is public domain and there are many people who are only allowed to use that translation, so I put that one on the site. I wanted a more updated and easier translation as well. This is where the adventure came in. Most of the Bible translations out there are owned by someone and cannot be used without permission. I finally settled on the World English Bible translation. It is absolutely free to use in any way. I was very thankful God brought me to that translation. So far it is a great translation.
I finished most of the spiritual gift test on the app. This has been very difficult because it is so very important. The test is not all inclusive. Some gifts come later as you grow in Christ. The main thing I have learned is that whatever abilities, talents, gifts, objects, whatever.. just use it for God and ask Him to show you how He wants you to use them. Give your all to God.
This blog is intended to update others and the progress of the Looky Lamb App. Please do not steal material, ideas, or concepts from these writings and pictures.
There needs to be a good Christian App for kids of all ages. That really does more than waste time. It should help kids of all ages draw closer to God and have fun while doing so. That is what I am trying to make.
I have been working on my Looky Lamb iPad app for a few months. To the left you can see a prototype of the main screen. All of the games, activities, music, art, etc. will be accessed here. I have not made icons for all the games yet, but rather just put place holder pictures to give an idea of the layout. The background clouds and shadows move, giving it life. Down in the bottom right corner you can see a little orange circle with 2 eyes and a number. While each game is played, there are opportunities to earn points that can either be spent during the games or saved for later. The main goal of this app will be to help children of all ages with their daily walk. There will be daily verses, activity suggestions, and even the opportunity for them to get sponsored by an individual who will donate to a cause (most likely the fight against child hunger) based on the amount of earn points etc). Another idea was to have the player be able to use the points to update a village within the app. They could then get real donations sent to us which would then be spent toward the items in their app village in a real village in need around the world.
Here is a game about the fruit of the Spirit (Gentleness). I heard gentleness described as having a great amount of power but being in control of it. You are me (Looky Lamb) ice skating around. This game has been changed many times. I am still working out making the controls easier. The point of the game is to get to the baby penguin and gently (not too fast) get it back to its home. There will be rocks and ice patches to avoid on the way. These will cause it to be unsafe for the penguin and it will get knocked out of your hands. There is also a polar bear (possibly on later levels) that you have to watch out for too. Polar bears aren't exactly gentle and if he gets you then the game will restart.
This game is about the fruit of the Spirit (Self-Control). Basically you are me (Looky Lamb) and you are trying to keep bad thoughts out of my head. Self-control is about taking your thoughts captive in Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. There is one good bee (the pure yellow one) that represents all the good thoughts in your head. You do not want this bee to get out of the exit. You swirl the Bible around in big circles which creates little tiny circles that can be used to catch a bee and pull it to the exit. As the levels get higher, the hive in the middle grows faster and faster. If the hive gets too big, then the game is over. Looky Points randomly appear on the screen and be collected and then saved or used for different powerups.
This is a game that might get scrapped. I do not know yet. The concept is that each one of the boxes will play a piano note when a ball comes in contact with it. The different colored balls all bounce, but each do something different. The blue one will keep bouncing when it hits the squares. The red one will stay in the square and keep playing the note over and over. The green one changes a blue ball to a red or a red to a blue. Not much more to say here.
This is the Looky Lamb drum set. Looky Points show up while you play. Not sure if I am going to make some kind of pattern game out of this or just have you play to music.
This is an early mockup of the drawing game I am making. It is very simple, but fun. Pictures can be saved (it was really an act of God to figure out how to get it to work). There will be a button to make the squares go crazy. During that time you can change the blocks colors as they travel around and bounce off eachother. After 10 seconds the blocks go back to where they were and you can see what new design was made in the craziness. I might throw in other things. I am not sure. I wanted the pictures made to look like old nintendo graphics.
This is one of my favorite games. It is about the fruit of the Spirit (Patience). I called it Paintience for fun. I (Looky Lamb) have been asked to repaint a building that has graffiti on it. The game is really fun. When the background color changes, you are supposed to touch the matching paint bucket as many times as you can before it changes again. The colors change faster as you get a higher score. You get 5 points every time it is right and lose 25 points every time it is wrong. You have to be patient. A random Looky Point with appear throughout the game, but be careful not to touch it if it appears over the wrong color or you will lose 25 points. As you click on the paint buckets, they spill a little bit more and more. There is a clean up button down in the corner that will wipe the paint clean. There is an easy (4 colors), medium (6 colors), and hard (9 colors) mode. As your score increases, I (Looky Lamb), will get higher up the building and eventually beat the level.
This is one of the pause screens. I am also making different mini games that you can do if you happen to lose a game.
I know telling a lie may not seem like a very big deal. Small little unimportant lies like "yes mom I did clean my room" when you didn't. Or lying to your teacher about doing a homework assignment but then you lost it. But really you didn't do it at all. There are many reasons why it's so important to always tell the truth no matter how tempted you might be. Maybe even if the first or second or third or how many lies you've told it gonna come back and punch in the face somehow. If you start lying about every little thing it may not be big deals at first. But then you start lying about bigger and more important things like, lying to your own best friends face that you weren't telling everyone her secrets or that you weren't talking about her behind her back. But usually it's not worth wasting your breath to talk about people since in in the end they almost always find out the truth from another friend a text or on facebook. Another big lie is when you get older you go to the mall with your friends and they are pressuring you to go take that top from Aeropostale over there well everyone is waiting in your head your like "heck no, no way I can do this". But everyone like come on we will tell everyone at school you'll be made fun of and have no friends." Well that would kinda suck so you take the shirt because its no big deal and I'm so much more popular at school because I stole that stupid shirt! Your so guilty inside. Even though you get away with lies eventually it will come around to punch you in the face even harder. So that's why is it really worth it to lie? Yeah you get away with it so your mom won't take your phone or ipod or ground you. But you still have to live with guilt inside of yourself and more importantly you can think of God being so disappointed in you..... Because he knows the truth too.
So below put your honest opinion about lying or a lie that you told and how it came back. To "punch you in the face".

Have you ever blessed anyone? Well, if you haven't, then I have some tips of how to bless people.
Blessings are a great way to show God your love. Blessings ALWAYS make EVERYONE'S day. I am sure everyone loves to be blessed by people. Here are some examples of blessings:
- Holding the door for someone
- Doing a favor for someone
- Giving people money
- Giving a compliment to someone
Little things like that, can make a BIG difference, trust me. Every penny helps. If you just make a little donation, it helps the world! It is probably hard to believe, but it's true.
God loves when you bless people, so start blessing!

Obeying is a very important thing in life! If you don't obey, or else you will get punished. You must obey as much as you can. God loves you, even if you sin. That is because He is made up of forgiveness.
There are lots of thing you can do to obey. You can...
• Clean your room when your mom tells you to
• Set the table if you are asked to
• Make your bed if you are asked to
• Fold the laundry if your mom or dad tells you to
• Do the dishes if it's on your chore list
• Sweep/Mop if your asked to
If you are asked to do things like that, they can get you across your bridge you've been trying to cross! If you do not obey, you will not be able to cross your bridge, and have to stay on the other side of the bridge until you decide to obey.
You must respect other people and things to reach God. God loves you no matter what.

There are lots of ways to get close to God. One way I am going to tell you about is “Journal to God”. By doing this, all you need is paper and any writing utensil you want to use. By using this strategy, you can let out all of your mixed feelings or emotions.
For instance, you can write about something good to tell your journal (God), to write about whatever it is that made you excited, happy or very glad. If you want to write about something upsetting, you can tell your journal (God) about what made you sad, upset or mad.
I usually use my journal to write about something upsetting, which lets all my icky feelings out, that way I’m not stuck with all those icky feelings inside me. When I don’t let my upset feelings out in my journal, it’s hard to control my tongue, and I don’t think before I speak.
God loves you no matter what, even if you have sinned. Love God with all your heart. He will always forgive you, and he’s perfect in every way you can imagine. God will show you the path that you should go on to get to him. God is good!
